AWFS Hosts 2021 Fresh Wood Student Competition

Anaheim, September 22, 2020 -- The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS) will host its 12th biennial Fresh Wood student furniture competition. The competition, which will be showcased at the 2021 AWFS®Fair, July 20-23, in Las Vegas, is open to high school and post-secondary students in woodworking or related programs. Press Release: Students Earn Honors and Prizes in 2019 AWFS Fair Student Competitions

AWFS® Announces 2019 Fresh Wood Panel of Judges

AWFS®) is honored to announce the judging panel for the 2019 Fresh Wood competition. This year 188 entries were received by Fresh Wood from high school and post-secondary students throughout the US and Canada. Forty-two projects were selected for the final round of judging which will take place at the AWFS®Fair in Las Vegas. New Categories for Fresh Wood; Woodcraft Donation Program Continues

AWFS has announced a new Special Theme Category for the Fresh Wood student woodworking competition. The competition, which will be showcased at the 2015 AWFS®Fair, July 22-25, in Las Vegas, is open to high school and post-secondary students in accredited woodworking or related programs.  Entry applications will be accepted until May 1, 2015.
