AWFS Scholarships
Two types offered: The Member Scholarship program is open to the children of employees of Member Companies. The General Industry Scholarship program is open to students enrolled in full-time woodworking programs. It includes a special category for graduates of the WoodLINKS program.

C.E. Bernhauer, Jr. Scholarship
Selection of a recipient will be on an achievement or merit basis as determined by transcripts and moral and leadership qualities. Finalists will undergo a personal interview (by phone if necessary). The amount of monies available will be determined at the time a recipient is chosen. Scholarship monies will be distributed directly to the school of the student's choice upon receiving proof of enrollment; however they must be distributed within two (2) years of award or they will be forfeited.

David Kline Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship is offered to students in North America enrolled in an accredited design program and who have completed their first year of study.

The Society awards grants in support of individual development or programming initiatives at the local and regional levels.

Green/Sustainable Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship offered to a full or part time student focusing on the field of sustainability. Student must submit an essay, letter of recommendation, class transcripts, and copies of work featuring green/sustainable design. Deadline March 31.

Horace Mann Educator Scholarship Programs
The Horace Mann Scholarship programs have awarded more than $700,000 since 1992. We offer $30,000 in annual scholarships to help educators continue their education.

MITES College & University Student Scholarship
For College or University students in Michigan interested in pursuing a professional career as an Industrial Arts or CTE teacher. Students may be awarded up to $1500 in scholarship money. Applicant need not be a MITES member, but a letter of support from a MITES member is required.

MITES Scholarship
A $500 scholarship intended to recognize and encourage outstanding high school students in their pursuit of becoming teachers of Industrial Technology, Technology Education, and Career / Technical Education. Conditions of Eligibility: Each candidate must be a graduating senior, who has been admitted to a college, university, or trade/technical school and has participated in a MITES Convention and Exhibition.

NTHS Scholarship for Skills USA Members
National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) awards scholarships to Skills USA Members. Students must be active members of Skills USA and NTHS, and schools must have NTHS chapters.

Outstanding Student Scholarship Award
Open to any Industrial Technology student in the Los Angeles area who is deemed outstanding by his/her instructor. Award amount is $1,000. Team DeConstruct
DeConstruct teaches construction skills while providing an alternative way to take down buildings. Youth and adults learn emerging deconstruction technology and LEED certification protocols. The program seeks community youth interested in learning, developing and applying green building and construction skills. Participants can quality for scholarships of up to $1500.
